February 09th Luncheon Speaker ~ Laura Harris
What do you do when faced with crossroad choices of an award-winning career and a daughter in alienation? Come hear Laura Harris’s story of how she went from being a workaholic —to being ready to give it all up to get her daughter back. Laura Harris is an entrepreneur (largest All-State agency in Texas), nationally renowned speaker and author of “Surrender to Win—Regain Sanity by Strategically Relinquishing Control.” As a recovering workaholic, she learned the hard way that we can only find true joy through complete surrender to God. Laura is blessed to be the mother of two amazing daughters. Her favorite job is being a grandma. She is a firm believer that if we don’t define our direction, the world will. The ministry of the Fellowship of Professional Women was founded to provide an environment, an opportunity and inspiration to acknowledge faith in Jesus Christ in the marketplace.
What a perfect way to connect monthly with other Christian women to enjoy a fabulous lunch, interesting company, and wisdom from a special invited guest. Our speakers are asked to share the impact God has in their lives. God has blessed us so mightily as we have seen the hearts of our speakers revealed.
Join us as we celebrate another wonderful season of growing and sharing our faith in Jesus Christ. Our speakers will encourage, inspire, and challenge us as we continue our “90 Minute Spiritual Vacations” this year. You can anticipate with excitement the special time of refreshment.
