September-December Speakers
September 9, 2008—Dan Holdridge All of us remember where we were on September 11, 2001, when our Nation’s worst terrorist attack occurred. When the Pentagon was attacked on 9/11, 184 heroes— some as little as 10 feet away from Dan—were killed. Dan survived. Yet, as Dan says, “You don’t have to live through a terrorist attack to learn from one.” His message about “Weapons of Mass Appreciation” is not so much about the Pentagon attack, but the lessons learned from that experience. Feeling handpicked by God, Dan’s personal mission honors the 184 and challenges audiences to understand the value of life through gratitude, respect and appreciation of others.

| November 11, 2008—Judy Ninman Designer extraordinaire Judy Ninman knows how quickly life can change. In 1987 Judy was diagnosed with a terminal liver disease and heard the words, “You are on the donor list!” Suddenly her many prestigious design awards, media coverage and her position as host for Fox 4’s fashion segment of Good Day Dallas was overshadowed by her desire to live and care for her beautiful daughter, Taylor. Little did she know her daughter would soon be taking care of her! Miraculously, God made it clear to her that He wanted her to live and have an abundant life. To her doctors’ amazement, Judy has survived. Her design career is thriving and she is active as a patient advocate for transplant education and research. www.judyninman.com.

| December 9, 2008—Sherron Watkins Sherron Watkins is the former Vice President of Enron who alerted CEO Ken Lay to accounting “irregularities,” warning that Enron “might implode in a wave of accounting scandals.” Fearing her exposure of problems at Enron could cost her job and career, she stood on her Christian ethics as she struggled but did the right thing. Her outstanding demonstration of work place ethics and courage resulted in numerous honors, including Time magazine’s 2002 Person of the Year. Her witness tells the personal and profound story of her walk with the Holy Spirit as she evolved into a leading advocate for Christian ethics in today’s capitalistic system and our lives. www.sherronwatkins.com
