A Texas native, Heather Young began her professional career as Marketing Director for OrthoTexas Physicians & Surgeons, PLLC, a thriving orthopedic practice. The practice now has six Dallas area offices plus a rehabilitation facility at The Star in Frisco.
During her tenure, Heather grew the practice by implementing long-term strategic goals, building strong customer relationships, while managing the marketing functions, including social media. Arriving at Methodist Hospital for Surgery in 2015 as Community Relations Manager, Heather has guided the expansion of physician service options and marketing activities, including managing all internal and external communications and supervising volunteer recruitment and education.
Heather is a graduate of the University of Houston with a B.S. in Kinesiology, and has earned a master's degree in Public Health, specializing in Community Health Education, from New Mexico State University. Heather is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD).
Her volunteer activities have benefited the older adult population at VNA, at-risk youth at My Friend's House and the children of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Plano.
